If you have ever been served up on a platter to those that wish you harm, you can relate to this little cat. The characters in the painting are inspired by a visit to the Bonnet House in Florida where I spied a little wooden cat who looked very frightened. I imagined the reason for his fright was because the other larger animals and statues became very intimidating at night.
